Zisis Sotiriou, in parallel with his role as VP International at Diaverum,  assumed the position of the Acting Country Manager for Diaverum Greece, in January 2026, bringing 20 years of experience in the healthcare sector, with a strong background in operational leadership across both Greece and international markets. 

In his most recent role as Group Chief Operating Officer at Evidia Group, he has been leading the daily operations of 140 diagnostic centres in Germany, Norway, Sweden, and the United Kingdom, while overseeing the group's commercial, strategic procurement, performance management, and medical technology departments.  

Previously, he served as Senior Vice-President and Regional Chief Operating Officer at Affidea Group, where he was responsible for a cluster of eight countries, including Italy, Greece, Croatia, Romania, Lithuania, Hungary, the Czech Republic, and Bosnia. At Group level, he also led key functions such as Procurement, the MRI Excellence Programme, and Medical Technology, contributing to operational efficiency and clinical excellence. Zisis 

held several managerial positions in the organisation, starting in 2006, with a strategic role in the growth of the company. 

In the early stages of his career, he founded Constructa, a family-owned business specializing in small- and medium-scale construction projects in Greece, which he managed until 2010. He also gained valuable commercial experience in the advertising industry, where he was active until 2005. 

Zisis has completed the Leadership Academy Programme in Health Economics, Policy and Management at the London School of Economics. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technological Educational Institute of Athens and an MBA from Cotrugli Business School.
